SQ-Shanghai Qianjin Electronic Equipment Co. Ltd(SQ Electronics) was founded in 1991. The company has now grown to become a leading manufacturer of electronic equipment supplying CATV network providers and the broadcasting and telecommunication industry worldwide.
The company started as a manufacturer of fixed and adjustable attenuators. Over time the product range was gradually expanded to include equalizers, filters, splitters and various other components. Today, SQ Electronics specializes in the development and manufacturing of a wide range of high performance CATV HFC network RF/optical systems devices, modules and components for the digital and analog CATV industry. High quality OEM and ODM products are delivered to customers across the globe.
SQ Electronics product catalogue currently includes:
· DVB Encoder.Multiplexer and QAM modulater and Analog modulator;
· optical transmitters and nodes;
· RF-amplifiers;
· Si and GaAs modules for amplifiers;

The company continues to lead the industry with the development of innovative solutions including monitoring systems with integrated TCP/IP network management capabilities (SNMP).

Close ties are maintained with all customers to ensure total product reliability and consistency. Ninety-five percent of all production is exported onto the world market throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Recent developments include the establishment a second factory at Wujiang (near Suzhou) 90 minutes west of Shanghai. This state-of-the-art factory has a floor area 16,000㎡ and is equipped with advanced manufacturing equipment to ensure capacity and efficiency into the future for our expanding customer base.
The founder of SQ-Shanghai Qianjin Electronic Equipment Co. Ltd, Mr. Wang Guang Hai, is a respected figure in the electronics manufacturing industry. The company’s name illustrates a most important corporate value. In Chinese, “Qianjin” means “go for ever”.
